Past

Heil's mother have always been considered a strange one by the small village that she lived in. She did not act like a typical female, and so no one was surprised that she became pregnant out of wedlock nor that she didn't know whom the father was. They kept asking throughout the duration of her pregnancy and her answer was always the same--silence. Her silence became clear as soon as Heil was born. He was a monster. His mother didn't have a chance to declare if she shared within their opinion as she died bringing Heil into the world. The villagers debated what to do with the child. They could simply toss him into the woods to die, but they decided against such actions. They concluded that this would make them no better than the monster that impregnated Heil's mother. The villagers decided to allow Heil to live and provide for him.

The villagers only provided him with food and shelter. They did not provide him with affection of any kind. Their treatment of him could only be described as torturous, and as a result he grew to hate the human race. He decided that it was his sole mission to rid the world of their filth, but he could not allow their soul to pass into the next realm. He did not, yet, have the power to destroy their soul completely. So, instead he created a crystal that will suck in the soul of those he kills. He than can use those souls to gain more power. He traveled the world, killing any human he came across and taking their souls into his crystal. He almost succeeded in erasing the race of man from the face of the earth, but some half-wit hero came along and managed to lock him inside his own crystal.

He stayed within that crystal for many eons--his hatred for mankind growing. Meanwhile, outside the crystal man regained their lost numbers and made many technologically advantages until they found themselves within modern times. It was here that Heil found himself released from his crystal. He did not know how. Could the crystal only keep someone locked inside for so long? Had he somehow found a way out? He certainly did not sit idly inside the crystal waiting for someone to release him. He had tried to get out many times. Did someone unwitting release him? He did not know, and perhaps it didn't matter. He was free and therefore could resume his mission. He studied the world for awhile--in order to understand how it had changed since he been sealed within that crystal.

What he saw only increased his hatred for the race of man. They were destroying the planet. And for what? Their own selfish needs and desire. He knew that he couldn't he couldn't take his crystal and start absorbing their souls. Such an actions would be noticed by supernatural hunters. He had to take a more subtle approach. He decided to start an secret organization that does genetic experiments upon people that he finds off the streets. He tells those that works for him that these experiments are to make the test subject into the perfect assassin, but the truth of the matter is that he is erasing the humanity out of them. Most of his subjects die from these horrific experiments. It might be that once all the humanity is gone that there is nothing to sustain them. He regards these experiments as a failure to his scientist, but within his eyes they are a very much a success.

Not every test subjects are killed by these experiments, but are instead changed into something supernatural--a superhuman as his scientist calls them. Heil detest that title, but it is an accurate description of what they are. Along with these new abilities his test subject have lost all memories of their previous life. He decided to use them for what he claimed he was creating them for--assassins. He gave them code names, sent them to various locations all over the world, and have them preform various assassinations jobs within these locations. However, he did not just release them into the world in hope that they would eradicate the human population with one assassination at a time. He was hoping that his assassins would breed with humans and erase them that way.

He found subjects for his experiments by traveling from place to place and putting himself within different positions within these various locations. It was during his stay in Southern California that he met her--Jessica. Even through she was human, she was the most lovely creature he laid his eyes upon. The race of man would not be a plague upon the world if there were more like her. They became fast friends, and he did everything within his powers to protect her. However, he did not tell her the truth of what he was or the experiments he was conducting. He believed that if he told her what he was that she would reject him like every human had since his birth. As for the experiments he simply did not tell those outside his organization. His fondness for Jessica did not prevent him from taking her brother as one of his test subjects.

Her brother proved to be one of those whom would survive the horrific experiments, but managed to escape from Heil's clutches before he could assign him a code name. Soon after escaping from the lab that conducted the experiments upon him, her brother was found by the leader of a supernatural organization. Heil decided not to retrieve his experiment and instead decided to allow him to remain within this organization. He found it humorous that he was drawn to an occupation of killing even if those he slayed weren't human. It, also, allowed him to study his experiments abilities in ways that could not be mimic in a lab or challenged when facing a mere human.

Present

His experiment's fiancee not believing the theory that he just decided to leave one day decided to go searching for him. He allowed her to leave, believing that she would only discover one dead end after another. What he didn't expect was for Jessica to follow after her. Her decision might have stem from the fact that her brother's fiancee had stopped sending her letters that kept Jessica in the loop of this investigation. She might have decided that her brother's fiancee have wandered too close to the truth and was rendered silent by one means or another. It was possible that her silence had nothing to do with her investigation, but nevertheless Jessica felt that she had to leap into it.

Heil could have attempted to stop her. He might have convince her to stay within southern California, but instead he simply decided to follow after her from one dead end to another. He is that shoulder to cry upon when she becomes frustrated that she is no step closer to find her brother or even his fiancee's whereabouts. He, also, uses his proximity to her to stir her to yet another dead end. He hopes that if she discovers enough dead ends that she will give up the search and return home.
